Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the PaiPai Hisab app ("the app"), published by Lettrabok Technologies Private Limited ("we"), handles your information. PaiPai Hisab helps you keep a record of money given and received. The app never sends, receives or lends money.

1. We do not collect your data

• The app has no server and no account. We do not receive, store or see any of your data.
• Everything you enter (names, phone numbers, amounts, dates and notes) is stored only on your phone.
• The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking. We do not sell or share your data.

2. Permissions

• Microphone: to understand entries you speak. Used only while you use the mic.
• Contacts: only when you tap "pick contact". The app reads that one contact's name and number and saves it on your phone. Your contact list is never uploaded.
• Notifications: to show the reminders you set. They are scheduled on your phone.
• Fingerprint / face / PIN: optional app lock. The app never sees your fingerprint or face data.
• Internet: used only by your phone's speech service (see section 3).

You can refuse any permission and still use the app by typing your entries.

3. Voice

• The app does not record or save your voice. Only the text of what you said is saved, on your phone.
• Speech is turned into text by your phone's speech service, provided by Google. If your phone does not have the offline language pack, that service may send the audio to Google over the internet. Google's Privacy Policy applies to it.

4. When data leaves your phone

• Only when you choose to share it: for example, sending a message on WhatsApp, or sharing an Excel or backup file. The app or service you share with handles it under its own privacy policy.
• Android may include the app's data in your phone's backup to your own Google account. You can turn this off in your phone's settings.

5. Keeping and deleting your data

• Your data stays on your phone until you delete it or uninstall the app.
• You can view, edit, export and delete your entries at any time inside the app.
• Uninstalling the app deletes all its data from your phone.

6. Children

The app is meant for people aged 12 and over.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. If we add online features in future (such as cloud backup), we will update this policy and tell you in the app before they collect any data.
